These are actually kind of cool. It's interesting to see how songs can be played out for different audiences. It's like the remix of Elvis' "A Little Less Conversation" at the end of Elvis 1's. It's wild. I've always hoped that they'd get some DJs to mix other Elvis songs into a package of modern sounds. So, to hear the Stones songs put into a different context or style is, IMO, a good thing if done right or in an interesting way. Think about Brian and the Joujuka (did I spell that right?) album: Early world beat? Go back through the old Stones stuff and there's a sprinkle of different sounds and beats running through some of the songs. Led Zep is another band that incorporated world sounds into its music...but discussing Zep is for another page and time. Anyway, enough of the soap box...thanks for posting these.
