This is the place where Stones fans can advertise anything for sale, wanted, trade or whatever, from fan to fan. Advertisements are for free. To see the old ads go here.
Here 'tis originally upped by TaperAdvocat @ Dime to whom we owe a big round of applause. He also asks everyone to donate to Robin Hood, $10 multiplied by the number of us who d/l this would quickly add up. You can do this easily online & here's the link to them
That's it for the moment, it's St Paddy's day here in Australia & I'm off to the Sunbury Social Club with my fiddle player to sing about some of the harsh realities of life. Murder (Banks of the Ohio), Infidelity (Gypsy Rover), Thievery (Wild Colonial Boy), Underage Sex (When You Were Sweet Sixteen) & the ultimate, Thievery AND Suicide (Waltzing Matilda).
Because it's 'folk' music I'll get away with it, the crowd will sing & dance along, but the Stones get blasted for singing about the realities of life (neocon). Go figure.
See ya when I get back. (& a happy St Paddy's day for all the Irish, we wouldn't have these songs without you)
Thanks! Have fun at the Social.I have another song for you to sing. It has adultery, Betrayal, denial and murder (Long Black Veil). Like your sense of humor!
Thanks a lot, vox 12 string!! I really appreciate your posting this show! I notice that track 6 (Worried About You) is missing from CD1. By any chance do you have that one, too? Hope you had a great St Paddy's day gig.
I never thought I would get a recording of this show as bit torrents, etc. are totally beyond me! THANK YOU SO MUCH - this will really keep the memories alive. I am off to the Robin Hood site now to donate my $10.00. Sparkly Top, aka Sarah
Thanks for this - amazing to d/l from around the world when just last week I was at the show!! Around the world, around the corner - it's all the same!
