I don't know the source (although it is professionally shot, with occasional digital title cards). Features the larger group socializing over dinner, and then a bunch of takes of Rock and a Hard Place, and Mixed Emotions. Ripped from my multi-generation VHS.

This is not for home use as the video is timecoded,
It may be from a VHS tape for offline editing that was previously leaked as a "25x5 Outtake".
The rewinding and synchronization of the audio suggests that the camera was in the process of synchronizing the video with the recording, which was directly connected to the mixing console. (The credits in the middle of the film say so as well.) It should have been stereo audio, but here it is mono, which is unfortunate but wonderful. It is assumed that there is a vast amount more, but the filming must have been limited to a limited number of songs, as it would be stressful to conceive of songs while being filmed.
This is probably the first time since "Sympathy For The Devil" that a song was filmed as it was being completed.
It would be a waste if it were properly edited and officially released.

'Sweet Thing' and maybe 'Hang On Tonight' (under title 'Hang On To Me Tonight') were later used by MJ for his Wandering Spirit soloalbum.
Some of the unverified songs could be working titles for the later released Steel Wheels-tracks.

Fascinating stuff ! A lot more from where the Mixed Emotions "writing sessions" came from [edit - seen here at 1hr21]

I remember an interview of Kimsey where he said recording in Montserrat was like being a big family and you get a sense of that during the dinner part, although the children are not there. The roadies were there, Chuch, Pierre, Tony Russel too, Jane Rose of course; Kimsey, his wife Chrissie too maybe ?. Not sure who the guys on either side of Mick are ? [edit - the one to his left is the sound engineer since he's at the desk around 57')

It's hard to get a sense of time for the development of RIAHP but the second version is a lot better than the first one, Stones going from "garage band" to...the Stones ;-)

I'll say that Clifford was very present during these sessions, not "producing" per say but clearly the "right hand man" and very chummy with Keith too. Wonder what happened for him to be ousted of VL and only (barely) coming back in 2012...

1h15 - Keith : "Oh me knife's dropped !"

1h22 - Mick thinking, "huh, Keith looks really drunk" ?

Overall Keith behaving very much like during the hilarious 2006 "Press Conference", but he does have the guitar/music going here.
