Why do you think that 0503. She Was Hot is not from the Art Collins tapes but is track Disc 1, Track 21 from DAC-159? Is it different to 1909. from the Art Collins tape? What is the difference?

You are correct - my mistake. Somehow I compared the very similar version but with double-tracked vocals.

Thanks for clarifying. Btw Shirley (510) is simply nonsense imho. It is a piece of the official album version that was obviously on the tape (cassette?) before the Art Collins tracks were recorded over it. A part of it remained at the end. It also does absolutely not fit to the other tracks. I would say ignore it.

Captain Acid showed that you can splice these 2 tracks together into one very long take. That is why I named them Ia and Ib (two parts of the same take).

The numbers mean they’re a different version. What I’m saying is that I have no idea what version Nico refers to because he does not offer any way to identify them unless they are official releases. I numbered them for my own benefit, and I have a benchmark recording assigned to each one, so I know where to find each one.

He did it too but I did it first (and better with cutting away less) imho . Either way, my opinion is meanwhile that this splicing together is not a good idea. The 2 parts do not really fit together directly. OK, the rhythm fits but the guitar and piano playing before and after the splice are too different. IMO there is still a piece missing in between.

Of course you can put it together but then you have some kind of self made edit.
