This has been in circulation among traders for some time in mono with tape numbers. I wonder if this is a better version or just someone selling what has been traded freely?

Stonefan, I am not sure if you are aware of this or not and pardon my post if you know this already....there is free dvd software that you can download where you can take whatever region code the dvd is and burn it onto a blank disc and make that blank disc region free!!! As a suggestion, you should trade for that PAL disc and just convert it to NTSC format while you burn the NTSC copy of it....

Yup, that is another option too....most of these cheap $30 dvd players are region free, if you decide to go this route, make sure you look at the box before you buy it...
