Hi Stones gang,

well, i have remastered this one some time ago but have never shared it before. I have done a brand new remaster for this upload. The first one was for Falo`s MFG DVD, this one is better. I did phase correction, EQ and level correction. Mr. D made an artwork, as he always does for Acid Projects.Source was from bootleg "Vive La France"

UPGRADE 2021, OCTOBER INFO:
I did better phase correction with a tool i did not have in 2013, also i have noticed that on some tracks right channel was bit lower than the left, fixed that too.

I recall when he started it and when he finished it every people around me were gobsmacked, what a kick ass rocker he did with it !!!

Yeah before the gig started, the man I went to with (hi Denis!) whispered to me almost conspiratorially "I've heard they play "Gimme Shelter" on this tour...".
And when he heard the intro he jumped out of his seat!

Ah the good old pre-Internet days!

I remember reading in the paper, in 1992, that Jagger was seen walking out from Keith Richards' concert, in the midddle of Gimme Shelter, shaking his head. And I can't blame him, if true.

Erik maybe he was shell-shocked by the wall of sound projected at the audience by the P.A. and he wanted to protect his hearing?

I remember attending a Ministry gig a few days before the Winos... the indus band was at its peak of brutality, they had played at 140 dB's during the Lollapalooza festival the summer before, but they were not as loud as Keith.

..... now I know I've got my Tinnitus in Paris 1992.

I like Keith's 1992 Gimme Shelter version much more than Mick's 1988 one.

I like the 1992 version better than me playing alone on piano, but that's not saying much
