His comment on TDen:
"I am so glad my long lost master recording has surfaced. I can hear my voice and my girlfriend's voice in the first 3-5 songs especially when the main stage speakers went out. I used an AKG D1000E vocal mic and an Ampeg cassette Recorder. This tape has been missing since 1973 when I loaned it to my friend, BoB. I stood on the left-center of stage about 20 feet from the left speakers and the stage... I'll never forget Mick looking straight at the microphone in my hand... Little Stevie Wonder opened.."

Re: Rolling Stones 1972-07-11 Akron, OH (FREEZER) (FLAC)
Hello and Greetings from the Kenai River, Alaska...
Thankyou for posting this Stones Akron Concert. I was at the concert and recorded the concert. About 1973, someone took my recording and I haven't seen it since. Can you tell me, is there a CUT in the recording when the power went out? I remember that when the power at the Akron Rubber Bowl went out, my recording stopped for a few seconds. My recording was the best of any of the boots available but was only mono. Additionally, I used a AKG D-1000E mic and an AMPEX portable recorder. Finally, my date for the concert was a girl by the name of Christine and Little Stevie Wonder opened the concert. Hope this gives you a little background... Peace, Joe Ray [www.thetradersden.org]
