Yes, I have that edition, it was the first european press, bought in 1993.
Disc made in NL. Back cover says "Printed in the UK".














EDIT: the ebay edition says "Printed in Holland" on the back cover.

There're a lot of different 1993 European versions: [www.Discogs.com] . Some have the sleeve printed in UK, other have sleeve & booklet printed in Holland. There're also Discs made in Italy.

But it's always Virgin 7243 8 39321 2 2, CDV2726. Doesn't look like 1st/2nd Edition. I've bought my JB-CD also in 1993 and it has the red/blue CD-print like on the Cover.

In 1997 the 1st CD-Edition of Bridges to Babylon had the Slipcase-Cover which was then omitted in later Editions.

You can tell which one came first judging matrix number. Well, this is a kind of voodoo approach because if the large number of discs were ordered they could use several stamplers simultaneously. But it works (generally).
For example, the one presented by gonzalo76:
839321 2 @ 7 2-1-2-NL. Glass master is 7 (or 7th attempt to prepare glass master), father 2, mother 1, stampler 2. Disc is pressed at EMI Uden plant in The Netherlands.
I have very similar one but 2-1-16-NL. Mine is pressed from different stampler and has back cover printed in the UK.
Now one should look at the CD with blu-and-red label and check the matrix string .

PS. The fact there is no ifpi code (neither mould nor mastering) points to 1993 or early 1994. They start pressing mould ifpi codes at EMI Uden by the end of 1994.
