Thank you for this - I have the Original Box 3LP in Red, White, and Blue Vinyl. I remember getting it in the mail at the time a fantastic memento of a decedent tour. Thanks for the post, really appreciated thumbs up

I bought the LPs one at a time from mimeographed sales catalogues from San Francisco. The sound quality was amazing. I'd bought a $500.00 sound system [Five hundred *1978* dollars!] with two Advent speakers that I'd position like stage monitors and then sit on the floor with the decibels screaming into my face at top volume. I couldn't hear anything else...

Thank you. I can still remember Mick's drunken band intros on LA Sunday. "...& on bass... give us a smal, give us a smal, ooh sheeit! Bill Wyman on bass!"

A tour underrated by non-fans. They were still so innocent or stoned that they weren't flogging the name of the current studio album in the between-song banter. There should have been more good recordings.

Same experience with the double CD at the Olympia in 95 in audience recording. (club gig at the Olympia paris France 3 july july 1995 double cd LIVE Moonraker)
You hardly hear the stones but all the comments of the public ..
Close your eyes (with a little imagination: heat and smoky air) you are there!
I think it goes that Hotwack in his review had signaled this great listening atmosphere.
