Any Led Zeppelin Fan That Can Help Me
Posted by: THE DON ()

Recently i discovered a Led Zeppelin live unofficial release of Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains The Same (2009 unofficial expanded edition)

I saw this on the demonoid torent at:

It seems interesting only problem is that when i try to download it there is no seeders.

Does anyone know of another place i can get it.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Mr D and Munichhilton,

No replies as of yet. Before me there was another guy who requested this torent 2 years ago.

Latest update i tried downloading it this time with 2(4) leechers and no seeders and managed to get 99.9% of download.

Do you want this one then it's at RO.

Here is a Wetransfer link to a "better sounding, most complete version" of 'The Song Remains The Same' Soundtrack that I edited together.
5 months short of the 40th anniversary of the original release.
This is a 3 cd version put together mostly from excellent vinyl needledrops of the two released LP sets.
To my ears the needledrops sound better and are more dynamic than the cd counterparts.
Thanks to the original needledroppers for sharing their work.

I re-did the lost music/edits of the 2007 mix.
Re-sequenced this as the original concert from June 29th.
I inserted various Plantations and crowd noise (between songs) in appropriate spots to mostly simulate the last night at the Garden.

Hopefully, if you grab this you already have the official releases.
The link will be up for a week. Comments are welcome.

Compiled from 5 sources--

I don't think I can do that, I'am not allowed, it's not active anymore but when you go to Royal Orleans and ask for it, it will be.

You shouldn't worry; I downloaded the Demonoid torrent (all 99.9%, LOL) and the only thing that's missing is the last 4 seconds of "The Ocean" (which is just the fading applaus).

Also missing are artwork, .md5 file, 2 TXT files and the ffp file. But I got the artwork from an mp3 version I found through Google

"The Ocean" is also the last track, so you do not miss anything.

As for playing it; I got (of course) an error because the Flac file was incomplete, but I opened the flac file in Audacity and then, without changing anything,
I saved it as a wav file. Warning gone and I could, without problem, re-convert it to Flac. (which plays now without warning in Foobar).

If you can't get "The Ocean" to work, just let me know and I'll upload it to WT and post the link here. When you are unable to open the other songs either, I'll upload the complete set.

Could you post the WT link?

Kiitos!

Hey Chris,
With my download the torent at 99.9%
i got The Ocean at 5:16 and file size at 35.6 mb.
Yours is only 5:12 and size of 35.4 mb.

So i guess i'm ok according to the description and time for each song and mine plays good as soon as i tried it.
Now it would be great to have the artwork if anyone has it and can upload it.

Hi Chris,
If i look at the torent as you are showing me from screenshot i get same thing. However if I play the song it is timed to 5:16 and if i play yours it is timed at 5:12.

Not sure why.

Not sure why.

On my HDD, it says that the file is 35.5 Mb, space on HDD: 35.3 Mb.
When I open the file in Foobar, foobar indicates that the length of the song is 5:16, but when I play it, it stops at 5:12 and Foobar gives an error message for the last 4 seconds (but up till then it's perfect)....
As I explained, I converted the track to wav and then back to Flac and then it plays (again) perfect, but Audacity cut away the "error", so the track lasts 5:12 seconds instead of 5:16. And that's the ("remastered" ) track I uploaded.
