POST: GLASGOW 17th SEPTEMBER 1973

[we.tl]

I listened to Brown Sugarfrom this file and from the Capt. Acid version from the 16th. Up through the Bobby Keys & Mick Taylor solos there are several transparent markers that these are two different shows.

The tape sounds a bit warbly. Take it or leave it, comrades...

thanks!

I know there is at least one recording out there claiming it is the 2nd and that clearly was a fake. Looking forward hearing the real deal!

Hi,
I made the comparison with "Brown Sugar" and "Happy" from "Live In Glasgow" "Glasgow'73" and "Dancing With Mr M" ........... they are the same, so I think that it is still the 16th September show

This version is definitely different from Captain Acid remaster and the original tape from Jack in Glasgow and the Eat a Peach 80 versions of Glasgow 16th!

Brown Sugar starts different.. Mick says 'Alright? Alright?..
Mick says something after BS with Glasgow, so definitely in Glasgow.
(The other version, Mick says 'It's sure good to be back in Glasgow I tell you that'.. or close to that before introducing Gimme Shelter, right Keith?)

I also checked some markers in Gimme Shelter, which are pretty easy to find.

Then obviously this show has Heartbreaker..

No doubt about it, this is the other show and therefore the 17th.

I do have some CDRs somewhere which are not touched since 2009, which probably has this (17th) show in it still labeled as 16th. I should check if those are the same source(s)

Thank you for this!

As for my untrained ears and impatience, thank you! It's been added.
