Brussels-Wembley in Quad on Wetransfer and Filefactory

Thank you for pointing this one out to us.
I used to have it, but my copy went bad...

You cannot only listen to this one on your PC, but you can also burn it to a DVD5 and play it on a stand-alone DVD/BD player or on your home cinema system.
I tried out both and it works perfect.

Nero burning couldn't cope with the AUDIO_TS file, but ImgBurn accepted both the VIDEO_TS and the AUDIO_TS files, so I can now play the DVD on my home cinema system and enjoy it in 5.1 (OK, it's a quadraphonic recording, but my system handles it as a 5.1 disc)

I uploaded the files to Wetransfer (links valid until December 29th) and to Filefactory

Here are the links:

Wetransfer:

Part 1:

Part 2:

Filefactory:

Part 2:

Enjoy!!!!!!

I have a 2.1 computer speaker system (2 channels plus a subwoofer), and there are some tracks where Mick Taylor is missing in action. Does this improve in 5.1?

Thanks for sharing. smileys with beer

Quality quite good; but MT seems to be low in the mix on GS. My ears are right?

audio cd's are limited to 2 channel, 16 bit, 44.1 Khz sample rate, so
you'll have to convert and downmix files to that format,
with eac3to, for example.

what would be great is to get the four individual tracks to see if a remix would improve the sound!
On mac I don't find any soft that can handle that. Maybe on PC?

And if does, Which and where is it?

Thanks in advance

yes
unfortunately here in four parts

didn't manage to play these with vlc multimedia player (suggestions are welcome!),
foobar2000 [+ dvd.a input plugin] play these files without burning to disc:

- install foobar2000
- download input plugin dvd-a decoder foo_input_dvda-0.4.11.zip
- unzip this downloaded file
- put "foo_input_dvda.dll" into foobar2000/components subfolder
- restart foobar

- file -> add folder -> audio_ts folder -> select -> click a stereo downmix

wanna play this from your computer and/or burn to cd?
1973 brussels quad2cd different version
downmixed and converted with foobar
sliced into 14 parts with goldwave

j.b. goode, is your quad2cd different version from this "new, improved" quad upload, or from the older upload that started this thread?

it's the first option:
downloaded the "new, improved" quad version (i.m.o. the different version),
downmixed/converted the four (stereo-downmix)parts to cd-format,
combined the four (stereo-downmix)parts into one file
normalized to 95%
putted cue/markers at the beginning/end of each song for splitting
and saved each individual part as a song
forgotten to do the tagging, sorry!
