As far as the "?" still in the title...it's an audience recording.

On "Connection" I can clearly hear Chuck pleek-pleek on keyboards which I couldn't hear (bliss) on VGP's audience recording from 1995...

The Rolling Stones L’Olympia ’95 set that was released on Wonder Minnow not so long ago will greet the new year on CD on the Rattlesnake label.

Assuming a different liner notes to the vinyl box, as with the previous set from Brixton, this CD should halt the discussions debating between this source being of an audience source.

Great news... only if they have switched the stereo channels to the right sides!

The stereo channels are correct on the vinyl box set.......so they should also be correct on the CD version.

Well it seems the @#$%& inverted "Angie" and "Wild Horses"... Well, at least on my vinyl... There seems to be a bad gap before "Wild Horses" (just before Mick says that he doesn't remember when they were at the Olympia before), the song fades and the vinyl goes again for "Angie".

I agreed to pay a lot of money for this shit and they manage to f#ck it up. What a shame.

Me too : what's written on the box (which corresponds to the actual setlist) doesn't match the LP. I ripped the vinyl and managed to invert the songs back. Hopefully the CD won't have the same flaw.

Anyway, for those still wondering, it is an actual soundboard recording.

Any chance you could upload your rip on 'wetransfer'?..........

Ok people, this is my own rip from the vinyl set. This is obviously not the definitive version as it includes some unavoidable cracks & pops and other problems. I also inverted "Angie" and "Wild Horses" so that they play in the right order.

As for the source itself, I noticed some saturation sometimes (but I cannot say if it really comes from the source or my rip, someone else will probably tell us more). Overall it is a pretty amazing and/but raw recording. It seems Keith's guitars are usually quite distant on the recording.

Anyway this has been a shitty year, especially in Paris, France.

So here's to Paris, rock'n'roll and life!
