I can get the torrent (in uTorrent) and it has (now) started to come in, but it won't start downloading Saitima now

Glad that it's started now.
The reason Saitima won't download is that both yourself and the seeder have NAT/firewall issues.
You could have a look here portforward.com
to try to open your own ports. Have you tried clicking on the icon in the bottom-right of uTorrent?
Or, ask in the shoutbox at Electric Ladyland for more seeders.

Thanks JimmyShelter, I will try this suggestion. I'm sure to fix it. Paid my money, my router is not in the list
