I sent out a mass PM on Hungercity a few days ago, asking people to please NOT donate at this certain moment untill Hungercity has fixed it's issues (after Shareef has sent out another "you have to donate otherwise the tracker will go down" mass-PM)

There are several reasons for me doing this.

I really don't know if HC will be up again.. I might not be staffing anymore in case "somebody" is upset with me doing a "counter strike" concerning the 197th request for donations (judging by the message about me Shareef put on front page of HC right now), and I would think other staff members would leave, by their own will, as well, if I'm kicked

I don't know what's going on in Hunger city. All I know is, at least in my case, Shareef did not respond to PMs recently, and I got no credit for my donation until I turned to Erik, who was very helpful every time.

I think this is the dilema for people like Erik, and all the real HC staff.
In the end you run the risk of just masking the problem by doing all the work and keeping things running smoothly.

Sometimes you just have to make a stand in order to actually resolve the problem.

I, too, got no acknowledgement or credit for my last donation, made on about the 9th September. I wondered if it forebode problems. Unfortunately it seems as though it did

Great to see Erik and MunichH over here. Gutted about HC. I was suspicious the first time it went down and so decided not to contribute until it came back online. Huge mistake. Donation ignored until I sent a PM to Erik who sorted it.

I also do not know what's happening in UH.
I sent two donations in the month of September, but I never received a reply to pm sent to Shareef.
It is not for the money, $ 30 do not change my life, but I'd like to better understand what is happening.
