Good to see that this crap won' t leave the french borders. Sorry Pascal, but thi is something for your internal affairs.
But what is on a 2 disc-set when it' s presented in mp3/320 kBs? So much space left for nothing...

Giles, I understand what you are saying. In the business world, this is what happens. Someone produces a product...then a second party comes and sells it to a third party aka the consumer.

This is totally what happens.

As well, this is what universities and colleges do also. They get access to text books then they sell them to students exclusively. If I were able to purchase those text books, I could just read those books and have the same knowledge.

But in this case, audience recordings are shared for people freely. To violate that trust and profit off other people's work, is extremely selfish and inconsiderate. It leaves a bad feeling for everyone. Why should one person profit off of everyone else's work? It's almost the same as being a scalper. Scalpers are low lives if you ask me. Sort of like vultures picking meat off the bone. It's scuzzy.

well imho, i just think this guy (as usually do NOT CD-R's/DVD-R's sellers on the net) does NOT clearly mention what he is selling is NOT FACTORY SILVER PRESSED stuff
coz some people could surely be "attracted" by the low price
but nobody sells new shows (on SILVER PRESSED discs) at 10 euro...+ especially shows which need 2 discs => a SILVER PRESSED 2CD...

Just pass it on to EBay, they will pull the listings.

There are also sellers on ebay from Argentina and the Dutch Antilles (I have no idea how it is called exactly in English) who are selling the 2012/2013 concerts on cd, dvd, or blu ray,
but if you, like me, send a mail to such a seller and ask if it is factory made then (if you get a reaction at all) got a blabla story, but at the end of their mail they admit it are just cd-r's, dvd-r's and blu ray-r's.

And probably they are just made from the same downloads we alle here get for free!

So DON'T BUT THAT STUFF!

Otherwise you're a thieve from your own money!

sorry guys but this ethical behavior is kinda upsetting. I couldn't care less if my neighbor buys CDrs from Argentina or Silvers from Germany or - just in case - he gives a sh*t about the Stones...
I'm with gilles here - it's easy to punch a poor individual. So go on with your self-righteousness, write mails to Ebay and have a nice Sunday thumbs down

I do agree to Silkcut here. The important thing is to listen to the music

It's not an "ethical" thing to put ebay sellers down. However, it's natural of the original sharers to feel somewhat insulted of people earning money on THEIR own recording (or artwork) - it feels silly to have been sharing something for free, and see it being sold online by somebody else. But.....apart from that "insult" to the original recorder; it's not an ethical crime, selling these things or buying it, at all. There are more serious things in life than taking a stand against "bootlegers"

I don't mind bootlegs at all, as long as they feature something new..... :-)

When you listen to music, Erik, I' m pretty sure you would like to have the best possible quality. But this guy sells, for whatever reason, the recordings in mp3/320 Kbs. Okay, not every person has the possibility to download stuff or knows about the existence of such a board like this or the torrent sites (HC, Dime aso).
But he did get for free to the artwork and stuff here or whereever.
It doesn' t make any sense to download the stuff in lossless form, convert it to mp3 and then burn it back onto CDrs.
This is by far the biggest crap I have ever seen and I can' t understand why music lovers like you don' t get onto the barricades.
Edit: Okay, WLR has done the same in the past cool smiley
And the only thing that is new here with these bootlegs that they feature lossy stuff.

I'd forgotten about the quality being reduced from lossless to MP3, Jörg, in fact, I didn't notice at all, as I never checked out these ebay-sellers
I use ebay for one thing: vinyl records

What have we got left as a society if you remove the "ethical" bit? The dog-eat-dog world we've been bathing in for 2 decades?
And I strongly object to see someone's else work being cashed in by... another guy who smelt the smell of money.

This is why a lot of tapers do not share their recordings. The good quality Vegas recording is is one example and the taper is also doing all three Chicago shows. I know a second taper who is going to one or two Chicago shows who has not shared anything publicly in years due to this. So, in the end, who loses? Not the taper, but all those who don't get to hear it.

Personally I haven't gotten there yet, but I know of more and more who have. What I find so funny is those that come out as seeing nothing wrong with it have never done anththing but download or buy this stuff. There are never any tapers who view it with anything but disgust.

Of course it's utterly crap to do that kind of thing and profit from generous tapers and uploaders. We all think the same about that here. I'm not a taper (I respect those guys enormously), but I have my modest part in sharing, just according to my limited capacity.

If it weren't for the loads of personal friends who I see at these shows I wouldn't have any reason to put these shows up.
