if you have itunes you can convert the mp3s to .aiff wh. is Mac's version os .flac.
No use converting mp3 into aiff or flac once it's in mp3 you can't get back what is lost it's useless.

So far, I only create a disc in mp3. In the near future I will try to do the album in flac.

Please consider rendering this in flac (lossless) or mp3 v0/320. 128 is not worth having in any collection due to the horrible quality
