Technical help with splitting files for a DVD9 dual layer..........

Hi everyone, I wonder if anyone knows if it's possible to split the files downloaded for a DVD9 dual layer (Newark 13.12.2012) so that they can be burnt to 2 ordainary DVDs..........(so much trouble with DVD9s sticking and freezing when moving on to the second layer)
And if anyone does, what do I need to do to allow this?............thanks in advance of course...........

I use dvdfab which will split DVDs for you
