Don't know... Their presentation of the "Foxes In The Boxes" torrents is pretty solid as it's a straight copy of the original FLAC files : no EQ no remastering.
And on Cd2 they offer the DW outtake "Nobody" aka "Beside You" that Bkeys had generously posted here in 2015.
I can tell you DAC's speed-correction is superior to the one I had offered here back then. I had the "hunch" Bkeys' audio file was running too slow but DAC nailed the SC, not me.

DAC-158 is interesting :
while CD1 is most probably taken from the pro-shot video that appeared on Youtube CD2 is the same audience tape that was on the 1990's VGP-241 boot but here the music sounds totally different : it's less metallic and more natural than on VGP-241 but it also sounds muddier.

DAC-170 is a half-baked tribute to Brian... including a few tracks he doesn't play on ("Loving Sacred Loving" for example). grinning smiley

Unbelievable. Another product of DAC's latest LP-remake-itis. But unfortunately this LP was already completely useless...

Rather a bad DAC release than a good post from you b......

And now a little forecast...

DAC-171 (Detroit'78) will be a rehash of their own DAC-068 boot except the tracks that are missing on the SB tape will be taken from the g/vg aud tape Keesie posted here at IORR on Apr.24. So the Houston'78 SB unfortunate filler is out.

DAC-172 (Houston'78) will be "borrowed" from the fan-made composite (SB+aud) show another IORR regular (Stonyroad) shared here on May the 2nd.

Not yet released but already assessed and reviewed... bring on DAC-173. >grinning smiley<

...or the even better Houston composite (I think) made by midnrambler about 10 years back.

Geez....that "Brian Jones Memorial Album" should had been titled "Re-hash Deluxe". That would be cool

Is it that old, Erik? My FLAC files are dated 2012 or sth like that.

Does anybody know why the last 5 tracks on DAC-171 are audience? On The White Widow release they're soundboard (if they're really Detroit, I don't know).

A friend told me he wanted to check the sound with the old 3LP-set and a "non lable" Japanese 2CD release.

The "DAC 132" in First post was not DAC, it was the "Japanese non lable release".

Thanks to my friend now the real DAC is available in first post.

Thx for the real DAC-132!
It's most probably taken from RLR's recording which he shared at Trader's Den.

Imho the torrent is better. DAC's version has a muted "blanket thrown over the speakers" sound that's very annoying.
Otoh they speed-corrected the final two songs (JJF Satisfaction) which ran a hair slow on the original torrent so it's not a totally useless release.
