Results checking VGP
Lossy Yes or No (some are double checked [iorr.org])
VGP 105 Made in Sweden LOSSY >>> 16.000 Hz Lossy, when lossless available, please upload
Links in first post.
According to the given lineage, my copy of VGP-105 is a copy from the silver disc. I compared Roll Over Beethoven from the Gothenburg disc with the same track on my VGP-100 silver disc. It's the same source with similar frequencyresponse. So it's indeed plausible VGP released VGP-105 with the high frequencies rolled off.Quote

VGP-105 is perhaps not lossy?!
I had it borrowed from a friend years ago and made me a copy with a cd-recorder.
Files look the way you desrcibe it above ( see screenshot for Sympythy For The Devil ), but TLH says it's a lossless file.
Maybe the guys from VGP rolled the high frequencies off, because it was nothing but hiss?

...especially as they had released it years before on VGP-032 with the high frequencies still there!

I tried to download VGP-187 = Stuttgart from the Stonesvault;
unfortunately there is something wrong.
The CD is from Stuttgart, but it is not the VGP version, which is a different source and has an abridged version of Street Fighting Man.
It is about 99% sure the CD contains the "weizman" torrent as posted here:
