Jimmy, I appluad your temperance when it comes to not "overdoing" the remasters. But all you did was create a mono image and then try to sim-stereo with iZotope's stereo imager. If you're using Ozone 5 or higher, try using the left/right EQ to preserve the original recording's integrity and idenitify the sweet spots of the mix, and than use the stereo imager module to boost the best bandwidths (in this case they're between 400Hz and 2.25kHZ). Drop the bottom of the stereo imager down to -20% between 0-90Hz to get that low kick drum focus and let 'er rip!
I think you should overdo your remasters as much as you want. The complainers can just pass on your offerings, but if you're using the right gear -- like iZotope 5 advanced and Soundforge and Presonus -- chances are you're going to improve these recordings enough for most of us to be very grateful for your efforts. I know I am.
Keep up your great work and I extend a hardy thank you for the time and effort you've invested with these recordings!

Ah, now I haven't downloaded my own upload so I'm not sure about this, but ...
I uploaded my remaster and I also uploaded the original (one-sided) files and sent the links to Jaap who imported them into the Vault and posted those links here.

I must admit that I haven't used the iZotope very much. I didn't try to expand the bottom end, but I didn't go so far as to actually go into the negative with that, I will try all that you suggest.
I was mainly concerned with EQing to get it to sound 'right', and I was experimenting with the stereo width to see if it improved the sound or spoilt it. I was quite pleased with the result so I used it.
And as for keeping it up, I love doing it, I'll keep doing it whether anybody wants it or not
But it's nice to see that people do ... thanks again.
Update:
I've just checked the 28-05-2013 remaster link and it IS the WRONG link.
It's the original torrent file. I will ask Jaap to correct it.

What happened was that when I downloaded the original torrent the end of satisfaction was missing. As soon as I had uploaded it (which was a few days ago, it just hasn't been posted until now) an updated version was torrented with the complete satisfaction (exactly the same otherwise).
So I just ran satisfaction through wavelab with the original settings and patched the ending onto my remastered version.
The trouble was I had had a few goes at the original remaster and it seems I had used the wrong version of satisfaction to patch (idiot
).
I intended it to have a slight stereo seperation, I don't think it sounds good if it is over-done. I copied the good channel to the missing channel and added the stereo effect with iZotope Ozone Imager.
