I just noticed that I have a tape from the 1st show which is way (!!) better than the "You can't say we're satisfied"-release. I ripped a CDr lately from a transfer about 12 years ago and it's full of digital noise but the tape is somewhere around. Now I'm curious how the new release will sound.

And a BIG thank you for the 2nd show!

I have just listend the shared file and found this recorded show is the same as EXILE and TARANTURA's CD.
(source is not the same and much better than them)

So, are they from evening show?

I got it directly from the taper, who transfered it from the old tape to cd for me.
He, I and 3 others are the only ones i know of that have it. And yes, it´s the evening show according to the taper. i have the first show lying here somewhere, but have´nt time to compare right now.

This is really an upgrade to the previous sources. Big Thanks, now we all can enjoy! We know now that this is the evening show, when they perform "Heartbreaker".

The first show is when they perform "Dancing with Mr. D", I actually found an old newspapper review "Göteborg-Posten" 7 oct. 1973 , where Dancing With Mr D is mentioned.

Proves that we can still update our knowledge of the Stones performances, love it, many thanks for this post.

I hope you realize what MJ have shared here? This one is straight from the taper and will probably be stolen by several bootlabels.

I hate to spoil the party but my tape IS better (more hiss but much clearer sound) than this upload and it's exactly the same show. So maybe my version comes from an earlier transfer of the taper when the tape was in better condition or the taper mentioned here isn't the taper.

Mr Silk would you please share it then?

Thanks for the information Silkcut! I am curious Silkcut, how long have you owned your copy for? I am always interested in learning about boots from the 1973 tour.

What I have at the moment is a transfer of my tape to a stand-alone burner from around 1999/2000 .

I was able to extract the CDrs without problems with EAC in July 2006 (!). Yesterday I compared all the releases that have been named here in the last few days and the download offered here. The download here is better than the rest but my transfer is is the best by all means.

Funny enough when I ripped the CDrs in 2006 I marked the folder with "ready for seed" but for some reasons it seems I never did.

In 2 months I'll be moving again and this will be the chance to find the tape. Snowman Erik will hopefully remind me to make a fresh transfer with better hardware. The same goes for Olympia 65 and Mocambo 77 - I believe my tape of ElMo has a lower generation compared to the tape that appeared a few months ago.

Later on today I'll upload a sound sample from Gothenburg on wetransfer.

I almost forgot - I had the tape for ages and no idea who sent it to me. I started tape-trading 30 years ago and I tend to confuse things a bit ;-)

Changed my mind. I'm going to look for the tape for a new transfer. Might take me a few days but finally I can torrent the best possible version instead of another so-so solution. But sample will follow anyway.

It's terrific that we all get to hear a great 1973 show upgrade, after 39 years; and just amazing that an even better upgrade will shortly follow

Erik, this was what I thought to be the other show..confusing stuff this...Lost contact with the taper, so i can´t ask him what the deal is here.

First of all - Vilhelm came up with an upgrade so he did his best and I'd rather say thank you Sir. Otherwise I wouldn't have noticed that my tape sounds better. And if he got "cheated" by somebody else it's not his fault.
