Just listened to LA 75 bootleg released through the stones archive site and that is a fantastic show does anyone have any idea of whats coming out next? I do hope they release a show from 1972 .

Nope, it won't be a 1972 show. It will be......[....snare drum rolls....tam tam tam.....cymbals] the sought after Lausanne 2006 concert for the bankers!
A real treat, no recordings exists of that one, it will be a blast to finally cross that one of our lists

I've heard it's going to be the Ian Stewart benefit gig at the 100 Club.

The 1st 3 releases have all been re releases of some sort of famous bootlegs. What famous bootlegs are post 1982?

Re: Next stones archive release

These are the folowing releases:

Atlantic City '89
Miami '94

It only depends on which concert they choose first.
I personaly think no one is waiting for these, because we all have great versions of these concerts.
Why not chose some clubconcerts like Paradiso or Sheppard Bush, which are only available in audiance quality?

I hope and wiss you're right, but fear you're not..
all the other titels were right too, so there's no reason to believe that Atlantic City and Miami are not next.

I think it will be one of the following:

Oakland 69
Leeds 71
Atlantic City 89

Need to look at the evidence so far we've had a 73, 75, 81 show and if you count live in Texas a 78 show. If you go as far as counting Ladies & Gentlemen a 72 show although only as a DVD. I think they will try and fill the gaps and try and go for a year that hasn't yet be represented. And as somebody has already pointed out they seem to be releasing the more famous bootlegs that have already been available in good quality.

I get the feeling we might see LA 11th July out as a DVD at some point. Why post the videos on YouTube nearly all the videos on their channel have been released officially.

Of course Altamont, Knebworth, El Mocambo or a show from 70 or 72 would be nice, we can but dream though.

I'm afraid the pre '71 material still may be untouchable belonging to abkco. Atlantic City is a logical choice.

"Atlantic City is a logical choice"

Releasing the audio part of a show that exists in video form is not logical to me... or they should put out the Dec. 17 show* which is a fine performance.

* = provided the Stones pro-taped the 17th show, which according to Zentgraf did not happen : [www.nzentgraf.de]

It's not realy what I want or you want...

about ca sept/october there was a list of shows they would release as downloads:

Oakland '69
Brussels '73
L.A. '75
Hampton '81
Atlantic City '89
Miami '94

All the other titles were right, why not this time? What we don't know is the order they will release it.

I hope its not true, but it is a logical choice based on the video has not been officially released, just like Hampton 1981.

Never saw that list. wonder why there's so much doubt if there was a list published. I hope its wrong. Miami 94 is NOT a bootleg.

Hampton was never official released.
Miami was, but on dvd it's is out of print for years.. so many people will not have it.

Sure it was! Just this year. Here: [www.stonesarchive.com]

I know Miami is out of print, but that is not a bootleg. I hope that is not their plan.

I didn't belief of that list myself before the downloads were released, but.... until now every title which was released was on that list.
So why would the last couple of titles not be right?

But I feel the same, this are not the concerts you would realy wish for... that's a fact!

Yes, just like Atlantic City. That is why I think Atlantic City is a logical choice (unfortunately).

This list makes sense, because all titles released so far were available on (famous) bootlegs before. And the other ones are too.

89 or 94 released bootlegs? yawn!
And to Erik its spelled "already"
Actually anything thats really in the archive or unreleased I would welcome.
I downloaded Hampton 81 and gave it 1 listen to compare it to my bootleg versions. I noticed some subtle improvements and thought to myself what a waste of 9 bucks.
I'd pay 70 bucks for a real unreleased gem. Hampton 81 was my first bootleg ever (on vinyl) and I played it to death.
Any subsequent bootlegs I acquired got played multiple times.
I'd welcome that real bootleg experience again- the "thrill" of hearing something that's never been released before and giving it multiple listenings.
