I appreciate whatever people put up and how ever they want to do it,but I have to agree outta the main three used here (gigasize,rapidshare and megaupload) I also have more success with Megaupload than any other. i cringe when I see gigasize but hey, ya gotta go with the flow!!

Rapidshare has always been the best for me. Fastest downloads too.

However now they are deleting your inactive files they won't be getting any more of my money.

I made the experience that the speed of Megaupload (free account) varies extremely. For example, sometimes I download one of Keessies great posts in 10-20 minutes, next day it takes 5 or more hours.

You can find this phenomenom at all hosts. I think it depends on how much traffic is on the server at the moment.

The Download time with Megaupload varies indeed, and the waiting time between downloads is very short (only 1 minute or less)
DL with Gigasize is about the same, but you'll get lots of advertising.
DL with Rapidshare is frustrating for me, because using the free account I have to wait 15 minutes between each dl.
When a bootlegg is devided in seperate downloads for each track (as I think for earning more bonus points) I just skip that boot for that would take me up to 2 days to get it and am hoping someone somewhere else offers the same show.

However I save everything in mp3 at my harddisc(s), Flacs are fine to me.

rapidshare and megaupload are the best, i find gigasize to be annoying, unrealible, and very very slow, i have a premium account and you cant use a download manager or direct download

i preffer mediafire for my own use. i get the benifits for free that most sites charge for

...at least the last week or so. Endless long downloading times, very slow speed at the moment. A week ago it was still really fast!

Yes you can.

Isn´t the principle missed here? Uploaders share so that others can benefit.
FOR FREE. So it takes a little time. The alternative is buying the bootleg.
Or costing you in a trade.

What amazes me is when people flame the board with demands for people to upload stuff.

Be patient and perhaps upload a little yourself.

It also amazes me how few thank you´s we see following an upload.
Urban Steel must have very thick skin. The ratio of downloaders
to thank you´s stink.

To me

GIGA is the worst
RS is faster that MU

For some other people it could be s~"#y, but for me it fully works!

And last but not least, even if it's not uploaded on your favorite one,
you'll have to thank the Uploaders of IORR who took on their time to offer you some free great stuff

Yeah, no doubt...Ralf's been here a month, made 150 posts- the vast majority of which appear to be either requests or reseed demands, and emphasis on demand:

At least he says "Thankx", but I can see why people are a little irritated by all the DEMANDS...is the dude planning on giving anything back here -something rare would be nice, Ralf, hint hint- or just sucking down all the shows he can? Perhaps a strike is in order: no more shows for Ralf until HE gives something back!

Sorry, gang, but I'm old school: don't take unless you are prepared to give something back. Much like humility, a little bit of QUID PRO QUO goes a long way, too...just sayin'

megaupload is so §$%ß%$ slow the last days, I'm hardly able to download Keessie's great posts anymore (and I need them!!!). Anyone else has this problem? Some days ago it was still so fast...

5 dls at the most and than had to wait for 7 minutes and again 7 minutes and again ............ and after about 2 hours it runs again.
About speed You can see when it is "busy on the lines"
