Help me with Rotterdam 73 please
Posted by: straycat58 ()
Date: October 3, 2009 15:35

I'm here again to ask if anybody has the 4 tracks Gimme shleter-Happy-Tumbling Dice-Star star from the Rotterdam show in which Mick says This is not Altamont.
Don't want to open again the quarrel Oct. 13-14 1st or 14 2nd.
Just would like to know if these 4 tracks exist and in which boot I can find them.
I traced so many Rotterdam and none has this Altamont reference.

Thanks to Silkcut , we got great upgrades of all 3 Rotterdam shows, last year....and thanks to Britney and Falo - we found out which show was which - I seem to remember that the "words of wonder"-book was incorrect...can't be certain though - as I don't have that book.

I'd be happy to reseed them at Dime as well; but I'll have to ask Silkcut for permission first....out of respect - but I think he's somewhat busy this autumn

Any reload re-up re-seed would be much appreciated!

If I recall, silkcut also had a good version of KYPC that he seeded with the shows shown in the artwork above.

Thanks for your contribution.
I had these 4 tracks missing in my collection since ages and couldn't fill them without your help.

Don't want to open again the quarrel Oct. 13-14 1st or 14 2nd.

I am afraid, we have to discuss the Oct.13th and Oct.14th first and second again; because the GS rolledgold posted to my knowledge belongs to the Oct. 13th show!?
Can someone please upload here the cdrs of all Rotterdam shows that belong to the artwork Erik_Snow posted above?
Thanks in advance!

My sources are:

The Rotterdam Tapes
Keep your Pussies Clean
Birmingham Odeon
.. plus isolated tracks from different other titles.

The titles here indicated cover the three shows with the exception of the 4 tracks (now three after rolledgold help) mentioned in my previous post.
With the 3CD of Erik Snow, we'll have the 3 shows complete and discuss their chronological order.
But I think the only way is to find a Dutch fan who assisted the Heartbreaker show and remember if it was afternoon or night and the date.
I'll post a thread on the Tell me section immediately.

No need to; Britney allready did that....last year; the artwork is correct.

@Rank Stranger; unless somebody upload the shows here - I'd be happy to send you CDR-copies of the 3 shows.....it would be a pleasure.

Ralf, it doesn't work the way you're doing.
You should be patient and grab the stuff when it's available, writing your requests occasionally and hoping somebody will be so kind to upload it for you.
You made nearly 100 requests in one week! I think I asked for 5 shows in 5 years..
Plase think about it and reach your conclusions.

Anyway, in order to help you, please visit the following websites and you'll find a lot of stuff you're probably looking for.

Thank you for you offer, Eric; I have a couple of friends here on the forum with whom I do snail mail trading.
One of those kind souls already stepped in and told me he can send these recordings, so I'm taken care of, but thanks again for your generosity!

It's allright, dcba, I don't mind insults from Ralf - I'm just glad I'm not his baby-sitter....can't stand kicks or bitings....

Looks like Ralf's posts has been removed.......it wasn't me who reported him; I think children should be allowed to do as they choose, untill they reach the teenage.....

Anyways...I didn't like the idea of bothering Silkcut - so I haven't contected him. But I'll do it - since rolledgold hasn't uploaded the shows.
If Silkcut says yes, I'll put them up at Dime
Might take some time to get a reply though.....he's having a busy autumn, this year - I know

Nice to see you here, Silkcut - thanks for the permission; I'll reseed the 3 shows on Dime.

The only thing....I notice that the artwork I made places the show with the SBD version of Brown Sugar as "oct 13th". But when reading the info-files in Silkcut's torrents; this show is labeled as "oct 14th - evening show"
However, I'm pretty certain that I made the artwork AFTER the discussion we had on Dime; in which it was concluded the "oct 13th" show was the "oct 14th-evening" show instead. WordsOfWonder was incorrect.

Could somebody please confirm that the Oct 13th show was the show which we have the SBD version of Brown Sugar?

Even though it's a reseed - I would like to give the correct info when putting them up....otherwise, we'd be in doubt....once again.
Britney, hope you are reading this....

EDIT: The Oct 14th afternoon show is now up at DIME
