Does anyone know what sources were used for this double LP?

I.e., were good old analog tapes used?? Unusual, but you never know, I have an EVSR which is a mix of digi and analog sources.
Or, were the old 44.1/16 digital sources used. These have been around quite a while.

Has anyone heard this record? Does anyone know how it sounds?
Which is the main thing, after all.

theswinginpig.net is building up a discography of all titles released by TSP. theres also a section dealing with such bogus Pig releases which is by no means complete.

The Swingin' Pig label stopped operation in late 1995 because starting with January 1, 1996 a new international copyright law closed the legal loophole for "legal" bootlegs.

since then, numerous CD and Vinyl releases claimed to be "Swingin' Pig" - but they arent. The Pig did not release a single title since 1996.

if you release a Stones bootleg and write Sony Music on the sleeve, it does not make this bootleg a real, genuine Sony Music bootleg - right?

This new fake Swingin Pig, as well as other new LP bootlegs, copies the most known/best (somewhat) recent bootleg material - and present them in deluxe packaging.
For instance the Time Trip 5 material; the Ladies & Gentlemen soundtrack, the "Stripped Companion"..... there's nothing new on these LPs...it's just a collectors item - for those who care about such

Listen, believe it or not. I have no reason for lying. I know what I know, and a) I know this guy since ages and
b) as a Swingin' Pig completist collector I know my stuff because reason a) and I cant stand this shit that other people release stuff and exploit the Pigs good name as a selling point.

One last thing:

Post a list here of TSP vinyl you bought "the last couple of years" and I can tell you if they are genuine Pig releases or fake Pig titles.

Any "new" Pig titles - may it be CD or vinyl - released after December 31, 1996 is "fake" Pig. However, its possible that you have bought a Pig title which was actually manufactured in 1992 just recently. So you see, the time when you bought the stuff is not important, it depends on when the titles were released.

However, titles like Sticky Fingers outtakes or Exile Outtakes were never released by the original Pig label, not on CD, not on vinyl.

Well, the packaging certainly is nice. The real zipper, the artwork, the double LP sleeves inside.
I went for this one, it only cost EUR 55 from my friendly boot dealer in Germany. I will clean it though before I play it. Cleaning removes - usually - any pops and clicks. Unless the vinyl is really crap. Looking at it though, it looks like a nice 160g or so clean vinyl pressing, with decent vinyl. Much better than other bootlegs I have.

You could have bought some nice genuine bootleg with original stuff on it with that amount.
We are not talking about collecting anymore, but accumulating...

Just my 2 cents point of view.

From the track listing, it has some stuff I don't think I have. At least not on vinyl. I have a small collection of old vinyl bootlegs, including the Trident Mixes, Gravestones and Rape of the Vaults, Taxile and so forth.
The best of the CDs was the Black Box millenium set and Stripped companion. A lot of the stuff on the Black Box set has better sound quality than the ABKCO official releases.

It would be fascinating to know who is producing these particular bootlegs and what sources he is using.
I have EVSR "Windmill Sessions" on LP. The Jagger stuff on that is thin, two dimensional digital sound. However, Keith sings 3 songs on that one. All wide, deep three dimensional analogue tape sound. A huge difference.
