Yeah, Stockholm. I once had this bootleg "I Never Talked to Bob Dylan".
"Time Is On My Side" was also on a rare official release on the b-side, still looking for that version, meanwhile thanks a lot, Urban Steel.

I will look out for the Bottom Line show. When searching with Google for a download I landed on a homepage called: "indexofdownload", friends beware of this, it is virus-infected!!!
By the way, my favourite Patti Smith show still is from May 28th, 1975; a terrific broadcast from WBAI

Right, talking about putting the band together and finding a guitar player (Ivan) who "looked like '65 and the Rolling Stones" or something to that effect. Love that show as well since she does the only live version, that I know of, of one of my favourites, 'Distant Fingers'. Also the unreleased Kral co-write 'Snowball' which ended up on the Iggy album 'Party' years later as 'Eggs on Plate'.

Hey andrewm, thanks for the Iggy-tip. Don't have the LP - I must admit with Iggy I have never really gotten any further than the Stooges material and the Idiot and Lust For Life records - I probably should seek it out, 'cause I like that Snowball tune quite a lot.

Yeah, it's pretty much exactly the same song with different lyrics and a bridge added. I think on Party Ivan and Iggy get the songwriting credit. I personally don't mind that album but it is definitely not a classic. His last album with Arista and an attempt, with Tommy Boyce producing and some goofy covers, to score a hit. Eggs on Plate certainly one of the best songs.
