REQUEST: Bunnies, Busts, Bombs & A Princess
Date: December 19, 2008 00:19

Would somebody be kind enough to please post this Halcyon label cd @ 320. I have heard this to be the best of all the Brussels boots but can't seem to find it anywhere. Many thanks in advance as I'm sure others would love to have this too if it's as good as all the hype.

Merry Christmas to all!

The title describes the 1972 American Tour. If it's a description of Brussels '73 it's another example of somebody possessing not one idea of Stones chronology.

By the way what would make this edition better than say the Rattle Snake one?

THe Rattlesnake version has several edits/cuts throughout

"Bunnies..." is just an EQd version of the usual Brussels recording, of course, but it is very nicely EQd, as always for Halcyon. Haven't "compared" it closely to Rattlesnake, as I don't listen to that Rattlesnake anyway.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully someone will share the Bunnies version.

Thanks for sharing. Very different from the official release, sound-wise.

Haven't heard the official release, but Halcyon did a great job on this.

This request made me search the vaults and I'm quit happy relistening the show.

It sounds more natural. Sound is not squashed like on the official release. The sound on bass is quite impressive too!

thumbs up

I've been listening to this Halcyon album again tonight and actually it sounds better than the official release. Not as clean of course but there's much more life in it. Music seems to flow naturally. Not sure how to explain it though... smiling smiley
Thanks again for digging this out!

I too notice a more full sound. It's "The Lost Brussels" wh. I bought a CD of in 2000. Merci bien.

As this upload was only 9 tracks, I (SMF) replaced it with my 14 tracks version.

Here is the new link
