Lead singer from The Action, Londons premiere Mod/blue eyed soul band. Mick Taylor plays on one track of this LP. Reminds a bit of Steve Marriott/Terry Reid. The Action couldn't get a hit, even with George Martin producing.

I don't know if this has been posted before but I found this video by Alex Tilley on U Tube by accident about 5 years ago and i got to say IMHO that of all of the covers of Bruce Springsteen's Atlantic City that I have heard over the years, this one is at the top of the crop. I keep coming back to it. Her voice and her interpretation of this tune is simply extraordinary! Nice job young lady!

Agreed. My fav Rory period is '71-'72 and then again in trio format '78-'80.
