Chiming in from the red state of Tennessee, I am absolutely ecstatic over last night's results!

There are some interesting thoughts being brought up here. They are a little extreme on both ends of the spectrum. I especially love how vitriolic and childish the liberals are here when a conservative joins in. No one can hate as well as a liberal.

I will start by saying I am totally anti-Obama. He is an obvious extreme leftist socialist who would love to turn the USA into a Socialist workers paradise. Unfortunately the Republicans put up a weak candidate from the get-go. Mit Romney would have fared better I think.

The good news is Obama won't be able to do 1/10 of the stuff he promised. He will probably be another "do nothing" democrat president like Bill Clinton but I doubt he can win a second term like Clinton. He won't be able to wave his magic wand and reverse the economic trend nor will he be able to diplomatically persuade the international trouble makers to be "nice" either. The honeymoon with this empty suit will last no more than 6 months to 1 year before the general population realizes what a fraud this guy perpetrated on my beloved country. I just hope we can survive until he is elected out of office.

haha, thats the funiest thing i've read recently. extremleft socialist...haha...hilarious! you just repeat the weekest argument of your week mc cain. i think you havent got the slightest clue what socialism means. have you ever read marx? probably not! so you prefer the way of a few people getting richer and richer and the amount of poor people or starving people is growing? just because its the american dream? shouldnt it be more imortant that as many people as possible live a good life? under bush the rich got richer, thats a fact. 50 million people dont have healthinsurance...is that what you want?

Well #1 is already accomplished: We've bought banks, an insurance company (AIG), and pretty soon most likely a car company or two. All in the name of bailout.


Y'know my 86 year old Grandfather, who lived thru the depression and both world wars even said that he never thought in his lifetime he'd live to see our country move to a socialist society but that's exactly what we're doing. And yes it's wrong - it's not what democracy is all about.

Hey on paper Communism is the best friggin society we could all live under, but it doesn't work!!
