Got a worrying feeling that a similar post has appeared already albeit some time ago.
However, the reminder about the release of SAL on DVD in the UK made me wonder how many of us will be scurrying out to the shops or waiting for a delivery tomorrow.
Perhaps I should change my IORR name to Nosey Parker!
P.S. It got me wondering whether there were any regular get-togethers for Stones fans in the UK. If so, perhaps someone would kindly advise details. If not, does the idea appeal to you?

Thanks for the replies so far but would anyone care to advise about the other questions raised in my original post? I should've remembered from a previous thread that a lot of people tend to read the heading rather than the full message, something with sssoul was kind enough to point out.

out of what 8,000 members I remember hearing that figure. That's about 10%, not quite.

and where does the 712 figure come from?

I live in the UK but since my dvd player is multi-region I bought the NTSC version as soon as it came out.

There's been several threads on here regarding this, but basically the PAL version is playing back about 5% too fast.
