Bought the CD, ZZ TOP - Live from Texas. Came out on Nov 4th. It's the CD version of the DVD. It's their first full live release...ever.

A Major disapointment. Very bad mix, fair performance and lots of bum notes and hoarse and tired vocals. One of those "You had to be there" experiences.

Marianne Faithfull - Easy Come Easy Go (deluxe edition incl.dvd)

Incredible disk 1 (just received it, will later listen to disk 2)

my surprise of the year...(thanks to the IORR´s,you know who you are)

If you got some money left (I know ,it´s hard in times like these,but if...)

I used to own this and the Texas Campfire Tapes on cassette when they first came out, but lost them in a house fire some years ago. Last month I heard Amy Lavere (warming up for Seasick Steve at the Albert Hall) cover "If Love Was A Train" and decided it was high time I got another copy. Great stuff, and now it comes with a second disc of extra songs I haven't heard before.

Includes both complete shows and a documentary DVD based mainly

on Michael Streissguth´s book.

Recommended (not only because of Christmas time)
