Smiling faces, smiling faces. Sometimes they don't tell the truth. Smiling faces, smiling faces tell lies. And I've got proof.

Hmmmm ..... smiling faces. Faces. Get it?

I gotta vote for It's Your Thing ....
not because I think the Stones could do a good version...but I just like it.

I'd also like to see them take a stab at
Mercy, Mercy, Mercy.....not like the Buckinghams though
More like a bluesy version of it that I have

Marv Peck

Y'all remember that rubber legged boy

I'm more into 60s soul, but how about this slice of hot funk from the 70s:

The Animals did a great version of this in the 70s:

They shouldn´t cover soul tunes...they should cover RnR songs.

Rock Around The Clock? Peggy Sue? Great Balls Of Fire? King Creole? All great songs, but I think soul songs generally suit them more...

Maybe something that speaks to their advancing age, but which is still upbeat, uptempo, and not in any way mawkish. Something like "If I Could Turn Back The Hands Of Time" or "Give Me Just A Little More Time"

It may not be such an exciting song, and maybe not qualify as soul (a little reggae), but I think they would do a great job of Johnny Nash's I Can See Clearly Now,

Another one I think would be cool:

Timmy Thomas's "Why Can't We Live Together?"

I would pay to hear Mick sing You're Having My Baby.

Yes, I am aware that it's hardly a soul song, but I have the decade right.

A live mix of "Out of control" and "Papa was a rolling stone" with Lisa and Bernard up front doing vocals with Mick.

"Sweethearts Together" segueing into "Don't Rock The Boat"?

How about "You Don't Miss Your Water"?
