Guys, a big AC/DC fan myself and quite ok with Meticallica.
But I feel Motorhead is heavily under valued in comparison with those two bands. Their last three albums rock great and live they will never let you down.
Listen to Motorizer, their latest album. out recentely. Much better than Metellica their last album and from what I hear so far from AC/DC their Black Ice, it surpasses that one too.

I love the 3 bands.

I recently bought again all the Motorhead cd's; some cardboard sleeve japanese editions with bonus.
The fact is that Motorhead is a great band thanks to Lemmy. But Lemmy has also never wanted too much evolution and do not care about the band image, marketing and business. He must be right but the result is what you describe.

Motorizer is a very good one.

By the way listen to JJF cover by the band on Bastards album (an excellent one).

I'll go and pick up the Motorizer.
It's true that Motorhead is great and undervalued.
I haven't bought a Motorhead album since the 80s.
Will change that bad habit one of these days!

Yes Motorhead!

They don't need stadiums with 80,000+ to rock. I saw them not to long ago (05) in my home town of Halifax NS. In a Bingo hall 300-400 pl & Lemmy said he likes to play to crows of that size more that the large crowds. They played for 2 hours & it was loud!

i grew up listening to Motorhead alongside AC/DC etc. but i have to say that (IMHO) AC/DC are in a totally different league to the 'head

I haven't really been able to listen to Motorhead on record since they did that 1916 album. i did download the new one to see what its like but to be honest i thought it was crap

still. that said i'll be going to see em next month regardless. they always put on a decent live gig

AC/DC and Lemmy is okay with me! Some stuff is great.
But Metallica? Horrible!

Saw Motorhead in Baltimore last month. They totally kicked ass, as usual.

I've seen Motorhead twice in the last three months. Once in a big shed with 'Priest and once in a 1,000 seat club. Both times terrific.

Lemmy's dry wit is such a bizarre juxtaposition to their sonic carpet-bombing music.

I don't think Motorhead are in the same league as ACDC.They are still a great live act,but I preferred the days with fast Eddy and Filthy Phil.Ace of Spades was a brilliant album.
And Metallica I can't get into.Far 2 heavy.Saw them at Castle Donnington years ago,i think Panterra were on the bill.

ACDC are just amazing.Looking forward to some UK gigs.
