Not really a "new" but an important date :

The official shine a light dvd ( europe version) is released today.
Just got my copy in the netherlands.

It comes in a digipack wrapped in a second cover.

It contains obviously the same (extras) as the us version,just had time to put it in
and had a veryvery short look.

So dank yu well (sure that´s not correctly written,but You know what I mean)
in the netherlands...><

Hi stone 601,you can choose netherland subtitles or no subtitles.
That´s it for this"pure" netherland version.
I didn´t mind because I saw the movie,my english isn´t perfect but not soooo bad and the main thing here is the music,so if you can live without proper subtitles in your language(I guess italian ?) get it.

does it have adverts at the beginning?
and is the bonus material censored like the US version,
or does Buddy Guy get to tell his "motherfvcker" story in peace?

Many adverts in the beginning (you have to do the "skipstone" over and over)
and Bonus censored.
When Buddy´s telling the story it´s always "mother",but the netherland subtitles
use the whole word "motherfvcker"

As I said,censored as well as the american one,very strange.

But if I think about ,Jagger uses a phrase in "Just my Imagination"(was something
like "she doesn´t even @#$%& know"),but I´m not sure about it,will check it.
Maybe it´s just my imagination...

Jagger's "she doesn't @#$%& know me" in the song "It's Just My Imagination" is not censored in the DVD I bought in Canada. Neither is his announcement "I fvcked up" when he says Lisa is from Queens. The Buddy Guy bit is censored though.

as for the other occurrences of "fvck": it was explained when the film came out
that a limited number of them are allowed in PG-rated films. they didn't want an R rating.
and apparently it's just not deemed worth the trouble to alter that for the European dvd market.
oh well - maybe we'll get an uncensored "collectors' anniversary edition" someday

That´s exactly what it is .

Interesting (nothing to do with the music) is the description on the back of the cover. It´s ouf course in the netherland´s language,quoting newspaper´s statement
and "Stonesforum.nl", a fansite which seems a bit similar to this one .
This site has it´s talk corner with Bootleg talk section....(although download links are forbidden!)
