To be honest I think there is nothing wrong with growing old ...

Except it leads to death, which most people consider to be something of a negative.

... and I don't understand why people all around the globe want to look younger and younger.

Because younger people are generally considered more attractive and more likely to have sex with another atttractive person? Just a wild guess there.

There is nothing more ridiculous than a 60 year old woman trying to look like 20 year old.

I agree, that would be a bit much and it's not possible with current technology. But it is possible for a 60 year old to look like a well-maintained 40 to 45 year old. If I make it to that age (doubtful) and have the extra money (even more doubtful) I wouldn't see anything wrong with it. Then again, I've killed a lot of brain cells over the years and may be missing something.

And getting a plastic surgery is a way to prevent it? That is my point - people who desparetly try to look younger and they think that paying a lot of money for a plastic surgery will help them are just fooling themselves. I understand that when you are in showbiz you have to somehow look ater your yourself and control the way you look, but it is all about the proper amount. And as I wrote before - the Stones have always had a good taste. Getting some major plastic surgery would be totally over the line. The best way to fight the age is to keep yourself in a good shape, which is exactly what Mick does very intensively. Good for him.

Looking at those pictures of Mick from Zoo magazine l started to wonder, Mick has the body of a much younger man, he looks great but his face is sagging and wrinkle, does anyone think that he could use a few nips and tucks?
If he had a good doctor doing it, it may take quite a few years off his face to go along with his body.... Any suggestions?

well - only pretentious and fake people worry about things like that.

That's a bit presumptious, seitan. People do things for all kinds of reasons. When my father died very suddenly almost 14 years ago, my mother had a facelift a few months later to make herself feel better. I didn't think it was a good idea, but who was I to judge?

Absolutely not. It's very much to his credit that his face looks real not fake. Mick changed ideas of male beauty when he was young and he's showing older can be beautiful too.
Leave your gorgeous expressive face alone please Mick.

Mick is a role model. Lean and healthy and not falling for the plastic surgery B.S.

On the other hand, his face would be a better match for his hair colour.

No, he should not.

Btw Paul Simon looked hideously flat faced in the promo photos to his mid-00s album "Surprise". Was it botox or photoshop?

Hell no!

However, my wife insisted after the Copacabana Beach concert film theatrical showing in 2006 that he had a tummy tuck.

Whilst it's certainly true that his physical state betrays his ageing years, facially, he looks every inch the 70 year-old, or older.

Thank God he hasn't gone that route. Look at somebody like Paul Rodgers, it's distracting just watching him perform.

I'm not an expert of this field but I have understood that nowadays there are also available much more subtle treatments than plastic surgery, for example different laser treatments and that sort of things. I'm not sure if Mick has already tried those kind of things but for some people the results can be great and also very natural looking not doll-like at all. It can make look someone 10 years younger easily I guess. Not that I think Mick should do anything like that but if he would do something I think that a more subtle treatment would be a better option.

It's way too late now but if he had started 25 years ago, he'd probably look great today. Some lip filler would be a real plus.

the question that's far more important and should be ask here is, should "Rockman" have plastic surgery, and what would he look like afterwards?

Wonder if a picture will be posted Terry?
