Really, are you serious? I've never heard it but I've heard what he did to the "Honky Tonk Women". As this is a song that is more his style - and he still murders it in that overblown Tom Jones fashion (which I do like in other songs of his) - one can only shudder at the thought of him trying "Gimme Shelter".

....or be unexpectedly and totally blown away?

Hey,nobody has listed Brittany Spears "Satisfaction"! I've never heard it, but this topic got me thinking about a documentary where Mick Jagger is approached by a cute little girl and she mentions that her favorite artist is Spears and Mick is actually very complimentary about Spears' version (I did not detect any sarcasm). I don't think I'm dreaming this, but I can't remember where I saw it?

I think it was on Johnny Winter And "Live". Mostly blues covers, but god only knows where my copy is anymore! If I'm remembering correctly it had a killer version of "Good Morning Little School Girl".

Also, not a good version of JJF which is probably why it has not been mentioned, but Frampton does a version on "Comes Alive". Is it still the best selling live album of all time? Be interesting to ask Mick how much he racked in royalties of of that!
