I prefer Ronnie. Although it seems to me that it doesnt matter who the guitarist is. They're both obviously great musicians. Mick and Keith are the musical directors.

As for my other three favourites I'd say: James Brown, Bowie and Willie Nelson

So what is the thought of the "connection"? The older crowd digs Mick and the younger crowd digs Ronnie?

Although, that's a possibility...that isn't what I'm thinking is the connection. After some more responses, and I see the results...I'll let you know what "I" think is the connection.

Thanks for the responses so far.

I guess i sorta prefer the guy that didn't quit the band....and
did a lot in the '80s to keep the band together. (doesn't mean
I don't like MT & MT era Stones music)

As for other favorite bands....always tough to pick faves...
...but I listen to PM & Wings, Aerosmith, Old Elton John, The Who,
Red Hot Chili Peppers, Black Crowes, Wallflowers, Bob Dylan,
Chris Isaak, Steely Dan, Bob Marley, Mellencamp, Petty, Queen
old Jimmy Buffett, Johnny Cash, Heart etc...
