Helter is great, 'cause when he gets to the bottom he goes back to the top of the slide, where he stops and he turns and he goes for a ride, then he gets to the bottom and he'll see you again.

To the best of my knowledge...he was MicksBrain when i joined the forum.
He was banned and came back as HelterSkelter.....and then I think he
got banned again (or maybe he had trouble logging on...??) and reappeared
as Helter.......something (I can't remember the username).....and now he's back
as HelterSkelter.

I don't have a problem at all with IORR reincarnations....but it always makes
me wonder if bv's system of banning people is working as designed. ??

(even though HS has picked a few political fights...i enjoy reading his
contributions...his sense of humor and his ability to stir the pot.)

Schillid - you should change the subject line to "Prodigal Son - HelterSkelter"
so he looks at this thread (& responds). He might not have an interest

Interesting. How does banning work anyway (please dont show it to me the way that you ban me ). I guess that when people start to be fed up with someone they can "vote" to get a rid of him? Anyway I don't remember Helter being too offensive or rude or something. Strange. So what could be the reason?

I think....when people continually get into heated political arguments, attack
others personally...or repeatedly break bv's rules. ??? arbitrary??

No, I am not sarcastic - I really don't know how it works. And I really don't remember Helter being offensive, but I might be wrong. The thing is that I ususly quit reading those "offensive" topics very soon - they don't lead anywhere and very seldom stick to the topic. Anyway - I am doing this a bit off topic now!

Hi there to everyone, just saw this for the first time ..... Thanks for all nice comments, they are greatly appreciated. Yes, BV was kind enough to give me one more chance. The problem mainly was my OT's were getting too OT too often and BV (and also maybe some IORR members) thought it was too much. I would have to agree that bitching about the reported behavior/life styles of celebrities on a Rolling Stones board is VERY OT and I definitely can see the point of it not belonging on IORR at all (this is seen more CLEARLY with hind sight which of course is 20/20 - perfect vision).

Even though it was somewhat tongue in cheek I do let my off the wall humor (mixed in with a little sense of disgust) get the best of me sometimes and I do go overboard. It's BV's board and he feels it doesn't belong on here and I do agree that some of my OT's did not belong on here at all.... and, once again, it's BV's board and the way he see's it is the way it is - IT IS a Rolling Stones board, not a general chat board, so from that point of view BV has been quite liberal with my, and everyone else's very OT Posts.

I'm glad to be back, there's a lot of sharp, very cool, bright people on here with great senses of humor so it's a joy to be part of such a group. So, once again, thanks for the support and kind words and thanks to BV for being kind enough for this last chance. Cheers, a grateful Helter - THE Prodigal Son indeed....
