Official setlist papers

What does those letters on the right means. I understanf TR sax (or keys) for Tim Ries and BC GTR for Blondie Chaplin on guitar.

But what does mean those :
BRASS
BV (Backing Vocals ??)
BF (Bernard Fowler ??)

And an other question about how does the crew know which guitar Keith, Ronnie, Darryl, Mick or Blondie want/need for each song. Another paper like this?

Sorry for my english ; I'm a french little boy (but I like it)

edit: oops sorry - you've figured it all out, haven't you. is that a typo on Sympathy, though?
BF where it should say BV, i mean - all three backing vocalists are normally involved on Sympathy.
or was this show an exception?

it means the brass instruments, aka the horns.

BRASS=Brass
BV=Bernard Fowler+Lisa Fisher (+ eventually other backing vocals)
BF=Bernard Fowler
BC GTR=Blondy Chaplin guitar
TR Keys=B.Keys with his instrument
TR Sax=Tim Rice with...
This paper is important for all members and musicans, because every have to sign on.

... "TR keys" means Tim Ries on keyboards, not Bobby Keys on his sax

So they hand one out for every show with a different number on it but the set list remains the same. Right? (ha ha)

I am always a bit amazed by the tempi. I mean, it must be very difficult to play Paint it, black at 132 beats per minute and speed up to 135 beats per minute for Jumpin' Jack Flash. I know they use some kind of clicker tracks, but I've never seen Charlie wearing head phones or something, so how do they control these things?

How important are these tempi anyway? Are the visual effects programmed according to these schemes? I guess when a loop is playing along, like on Sympathy for the devil, it is important to get into the right beat, but don't tell me they use programmed loops for other songs as well?

>> how do they control these things? <<

the way it's been explained before is: Chuck counts in most numbers,
guided by a click-track thing (i don't know what to call it);
what happens from then on is up to the band. it's a lot like making love:
you start at some chosen tempo, and then ... different things happen :E

the 132 beats per minute must be set to a METRONOME somewhere in the stones gear on stage

Hmm.... I wonder if there is some sort of tempo guide...perhaps a visual one, if not through monitor/phones...?

Their live music has sounded suspiciously mechanical since 1989.

Chuck has it, he listens to it, then he counts it off.
