I'm no fan of Macca's recent stuff ... in fact, nothing he's done in the past 25 years has really excited me.

However, methinks this one has potential. Check it out...

WAY overproduced.. Paul has always had a love for 'weird' sounds. I can hardly hear him sing. Everything sounds synthesized...

I liked it. Lighten up, King Snake. So you think Mr. Lennon or Mr. Harrison didn't go for "weird sounds" back during the Fab days? Remember "I Am the Walrus" or "Within You/Without You"?

I liked it. He seems to be taking a few chances musically there I thnk, not just the same old stuff. He tried a few diferent stuff on his last album too (a great one as well), so that's cool. His voice sounds young.

But those songs still have a clear voice..

This song is really vage and mushy you know.. the voice needs to be way up and less chorus-y in the mix.

Macca can do much better!!! The refrain is catchy, tough!

I think it sounds fine. Paul can do as Paul pleases. It's just a song, you know, and not a bad one! I like the mix. Artists mix vocals too loudly these days, I think, and this one just has a nice, full sound. Not a masterpiece, but a fine track, you know? I'm sure that's all it's intended to be.
