That was the start of my addiction to this band! The following month my buddy and I drove 650 miles to New olreans for the Superdome Show! The addiction has gotten more serious as the years roll on!
Gotta Love them Stones!

Apart from compilations this was the 2nd Stones album that I bought after B&B .
For me it's still a great listen with a variety of tracks that only The Stones can do .
How do you get Faraway Eyes , Shattered and Beast of Burden on one album ?

I thought it was interesting that there were 4 SG tracks on SAL .

It's an astonishing album - arguably their most diverse.

Punk, country, disco, and good ole R & R all on one record. No wonder its the Stones best selling non-comp record. It only sounds better with time to me. Of course, you've got to listen to it on vinyl for best reults!

the first Stones lp that I bought right after it went on sale. Still remember the feeling of loving it on first listen. Then, I saw them for the first time, too, in Philly just a few weeks later. That was a Some Girls summer!
