Most people know the abbreviations by now. They're used on pretty much all the Stones boards. I don't see the problem here.

I've been a Stones fan for more than 40 years and owned nearly every album since it was brand new. I had to think a while to remember that HYA was Hundred Years Ago. Then again, I haven't played Goats Head Soup much since the '94 remasters came out.

Yeah, the netspeak does go over the top sometimes, but many of us are guilty of it, AFAIK (ahem). Of course, it isn't the QE (Queen's English), but that's OK.
