Bill used to walk a fair amount around the arena stage during the '81 shows.

Let me guess: during the final bow - one step forward, one back.

Actually, he'd go for a stroll. Nothing dramatic, mind you, but he covered a bit of ground. With the drum riser and amps moving every few songs, he was forced to relocate a fair amount. It was significantly different from other tours. Check out the Hampton video.

I remember him nimbly dodging what looked to be an empty half-pint liquor bottle tossed at him during Greensboro 1975 show. Picked it up, put it on top of one of the amps, went on playing. All Part of the job....

There´s a good story in the book Rolling with the Stones. "Once during the Steel Wheels tour they put a stripper under the stage. They wanted to see if I´d move to get a better view." -Bill

Someone posted a Youtube clip on this board not long ago showing Mick giving Bill a good shove on stage.
Bill responded with a gentle kick to Mick's backside.
I think that's the most I've ever seen Bill move onstage.

In Toronto (1975) he actually had to move over to the keyboard to play during Fingerprint File. Mick commented about it to the crowd. After the song ended he walked back to his point where he remained for the rest of the show. There is no ADHD in his genes.
