By a coincidence just been listening to Mona & Not Fade Away.
Saw him when he came Down Under years ago. He used a pickup band & I had a chat with the local guitarist after the gig. He said the rehearsal involved copious quantities of weed. It was a great gig & I'm happy to have seen him if only the once
Bo's music played a major role in shaping the sound of the early rolling stones. Bo was an original, an eccentric. I met him in 1987 at a gig he played at the Dingwalls in Camden, London. He was great, very entertaining and funny. I went backstage, shook his hand and noticed how red his eyes were behind those big glasses of his; Bo was high was kite and super friendly. Rest in peace big man. Rock and Roll, Mops
A very, very sad day indeed. Thanks for all the memories. I remember reading when Bo first met the Stones he claimed Brian was the only white cat who could lay down his stuff. Also sympathy goes out to Ron who I'm sure will take the news especially hard. And let Brian be there to greet him to heaven.

Always loved the Bo beat, especially with the Stones and the Pretty Things. Glad I have been able to see his last 2 concerts in Holland. He is a giant and will be missed!
