My poor friend Barry has just been diagonised with neck cancer. Even with kemo he will only last 6-9 months, no kemo only 1 week. Just has really put a damper on my life for now. Please everyone say a prayer for him. Thanks

I feel with you, my doughter age 35 diagnosed canser in her toung last january so I know how difficult it is. Her operation was sucessful and the radioterapy is just over, but there is still a job to do, all suspect items will be operated.
When we are in a situatiopn like this we will all feel the world unfair like my doughter she has always been careful with food and have never been a smoker.

Horrible news. A prayer for Barry

Very sad news. I pray for him and for everyone else mentioned. My mom is in the process of being diagnosed herself. It's been two months now that we are going for one test or another, and all this waiting has been very stressful. Please say a prayer for her too.

It always sucks to hear this. Obviously best wishes and thoughts to your friend. I myself have lost too many people close to me because of cancer. It's never easy. But somehow we move on while never forgetting our loved ones.

I hope it is not too late. A couple of years ago, a very close friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer in that area of the body and it was considered too dangerous to operate.

However, they used a course of radiation, and he has since made a full recovery.

Two friends of mine were diagnosed with cancer in the last few years and are both doing fine now. There is hope. Strength to him in his hour of darkness.

Hang in there...there IS always hope.

My mother-in-law had lung cancer, liver cancer and a brain tumor all at one, given 1-3 months to live. That was in 1998. She just had her 70th birthday in February.
