Anybody ever seen the clip of him being interviewed by Richard Williams on the Old Grey Whistle test in 72. Absolutely hilarious. Williams asks him about the new found religious sentiments in his lyrics and Jerry Lee replies, 'sorry boy, I didn't hear you'. Williams repeats the question and a stony faced Jerry Lee cuts in 'I can't hear ya boy, what's that ya saying'. And then Jerry Lee completely cuts the now squirming Williams dead and the interview rambles a bit before falling apart. I'll see if I can upload it later.
Yes, I love the umbrella. I saw the umbrella once on TV - a big stadium filled with people, with this small figure with the umbrella in the middle of it. And that little figure was what made it all magic.
Also love the Jerry Lee Lewis clip! There IS something called attitude!

AH YES THE 70'S WHEN DRUGS RAN RAMPENT. WHAT THE HECK WAS THE KILLER ON IN THIS VIDEO. I THINK MICK HAD THE UMBRELLA BECAUSE HE WAS JEALOUS OF ELTON JOHN'S COWBOY HAT. KEITH AND WOODY ARE THE ONLY REAL MEN IN THIS, LEATHER AND ALL.
