Hi there,

after "Faraway Eyes", Mick says "thanks ...heads". What exactly did you say?

Guess it's what DP said. The German translation is bad anyway, it doesn't come across tongue in cheek - everyone wondered why he insults the audience. Of course, he is being tongue-in-cheeck after a tongue-in-cheeck song, referring to the audience as hillbillies...

in french it is "bras cassés" meaning someone not smart, not talented. a dumb.
Not nice at all for the rest of the band especially after the shared microphone between Keith and Mick which was a very nice moment.

I am pretty sure he says "Thank you TRACTORHEADS" because it was a country song. Like DEADHEADS or PARROTHEADS.

From Urban Dictionary smiling smiley :

Typically, a grandmother figure from the southern United States, with a 'southern twang' accent. Crockers usually smoke cigarettes, but aren't proud of it, and also love their grandchildren but are extremely disciplinary and attempt to make lectures on waiting for sex until marriage, and to love God. Crockers favorite resturants can be something to the extent of an all-you-can-eat cafeteria, or for fancy nights, the Cracker Barrel. Their favorite gas station is Hess. Most crockers watch soap operas, Walker Texas Ranger, or Touched By an Angel.

Watch out for that crocker, she can be a real bitch.

In Danish it was "grødhoveder". That means "porridge heads". grinning smiley
I laughed out loud at it and everyone thought I was a loon.

Usually he is dedicating country songs to Hillbillies or Rednecks or anything else that isn't too urban but still not offending to those who actually are ... rednecks...

He definitely said "crackerheads". I didn't understand it the first time either but second time I saw the movie I got it. I've never head that expression before, has to be some kind of weird slang.

Lose your dreams and you will lose your mind...

It's "crackerheads." Southern white folks are often referred to as "crackers." It's a fairly innocuous term, however it's origins are not that nice. Came from the white master who was "cracking" the whip during slave days.

A 'Cracker" is a white biscuit that Blacks will often call white people they percieve as rednecks. A cracker! Could be crackerheads

Cracker used to refer to a native Floridian.

Mick says crackerheads. It's very obvious.

I have a friend who used to work at a restaurant in the French Quarter and during the big weekends with sporting events or music events where the minorty of the crowd is white (as in basically zero) he would constantly say to the black people getting some kind of soup Would you like crackers with that? and they never did get his sense of humour.
