Nice sincere reading of the John classic, Rons vocals are nice and raspy loose (or all over the place, depending on your view).

Frankie Miller did a great version as well.

I vaugley remember watching it at the time. I knew it was around September as it was my 16th birthday.

Anyone remember what else was performed on the show?

Correct. The lyrics are something like "On the way to Rishikesh" and "Underneath the mountain waves, where the wind will never change. Touch the mirrors of my soul". Something like that. It's a good one, but Jealous Guy is much better.

In the said version you can hear people walking and talking in the background. I think it's John and George trying it on acoustics.

i can't access this from work, but I love RW & Faces' version of Jealous Guy (an Ooh La La outtake from the "5 Guys" Box.
Looking forward to the solo Ron project this year.
