George Baker Selection - Una Paloma Blanca. This must be the most well known (and irritating?!) Dutch rock/pop song ever:





The song was composed by Johannes Bouwens (AKA George Baker) and released in 1975. The song title is in Spanish, it is translated in English as white dove.

Irritatin' but not too much for a 11 year old back in the days.

Fatal Flowers was a very good rock band indeed. Too bad they split up. Just a clip how good they sounded:





And although they were more a bluesband The Strikes sure knew who to rock! To bad the split up also. Big Pete still performs; sometimes with the Lester Butler Tribute Band. That (Dutch) guy is a helluva harp player:

OK, that's what I thought, I also heard that the American Outsiders were a producer's band, ie:rock producers in the 60's had a few musicians they worked with and they came out with all these one hit wonders in which it was often the same musician's in each of these bands. I heard this 3rd party and don't know how true is really is.
